Last week we saw the trail-riders heading into downtown and this week we visited The Stockyards in Fort Worth (just outside Dallas) where we witnessed a longhorn cattle drive and on our return had a night at the Houston Rodeo.
We're really going to miss some of the lingo around here when we move -
Howdy pardner
Ride 'em cowboy
Head 'em up move 'em out
Whoa
Mount up
Save a horse, ride a cowboy (mmmmm!)
Reckon I'll just mosey on then...........along the Cowboy Walk of Fame (where we discovered a famous Texas Ranger - right next to Wyatt Earp of course!)
Rodeo Houston - lots of horse kicking, bull bucking and definitely something enjoyed by cowboy lovin' fans - think I prefer the beach although the cowboy hat has some appeal don't you think??
