March 30th - April 4th 2010We have just returned to New Zealand after a great visit with Josh in Queensland. This was my first trip back to Aussie in over 3 years so very exciting. We stayed at Josh's house - Lee, our nephew, is also living there at the moment so we experienced living in a batchelor pad - mmmmm! One of Josh's friends, Larissa, brightend up the place with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and we added our touch of colour with a big bowl of easter eggs.
We spent some time with Josh at work in his new offices - very impressive and he took some time out to video us in one of his studios. Josh and his partner Ben took us out to dinner along with Ben's fiance Kim - we enjoyed a lovely night at Mario's in Broadbeach - thanks guys.
We had lunch in Brisbane with our friend Charlie, we spent time at the beach watching Josh & Lee surf, played with Ruby (Josh's Chinese Shar Pei dog), had dinner next door at Froggy's (thankyou Froggy for the lovely owl Easter gift), met some of Josh's friends including Lauren, the daughter of old friends Lyn & Neville in Adelaide (not old in age just in years we have known them!), enjoyed the company of Larissa and her daughters Caddie & Luana who taught us how to play wii games, absolutely amazing projected up on the lounge room wall - we played bowls & tennis & golf and were beaten everytime by 5 year olds!!! Best of all we watched a Port Power game live on tv and enjoyed their win over the West Coast in Subiaco. We haven't seen an AFL game in years so thoroughly enjoyed it. Of course the 6 days flew by and once again we found ourselves saying another goodbye - hopefully it won't be too long before we see Josh again.
