Group Dinner - Valentine's Celebration

Another wonderful group dinner with Diane & George, Pat & Sam and Candace & Bart - this time held at Diane & George's house. Unfortunately John was unable to attend as he is currently working on a ship off the coast of Trinidad and was really disappointed to have missed the occasion, particularly seeing we were celebrating Valentine's Day. We all contributed to the dinner and the theme by creating delicious red dishes - all tasting absolutely extraordinary of course!

It was a fun night and one full of surprises - Diane & George had definitely excelled, making sure it was a memorable evening. The window and table decorations were fabulous along with our little goodie bags filled with chocolates and great information on other February celebrations including Chinese New Year (2010 being the Year of the Tiger), President's Day and of course Valentine's Day. Diane & George we all marvel at your attention to detail and your thoughfulness.

The biggest surprise was for John & I - these wonderful people also wanted to celebrate the news of our upcoming adventure into grandparenthood and presented me with an awesome gift - a digital photo frame that can download 4000 photos! Not only had they chosen a perfect gift they had also downloaded quite a few photos to get us started - amazing eh!

I don't think there will be any problem filling the available space with baby photos.......

Thank ya'll so much for our wonderful gift and for making us feel so special with our new grandparent status - it is so wonderful to share happy times with friends. This dinner was another wonderful memory in our time here and we thank you again for everything - great food, great conversation and great company.
