Greg Mortenson

On Monday Feb 8th we attended a wonderful event - "Three Cups of Tea with Greg Mortenson" - a fundraising luncheon to assist Greg in his endeavours to improve the world by encouraging peace through education by building schools in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Greg's talk was very uplifting, giving hope to the idea that peace can be achieved - he's an amazing man and certainly proves that one person can make a difference. He has two books "Three Cups of Tea" and "Stones Into Schools" and we can certainly recommend reading them.
