John's other home - Alaska!!

For the last month or so John has been spending a lot of time working in Alaska. He loves the work and the opportunity to work in such an amazing place but of course we don't like the separation bit that comes with this assignment. Unfortunately it's not possible for me to travel with him as he's working on the North Slope in the Arctic Circle in a place called Dead Horse (for real!) and they only cater for the workers (it's not exactly a tourist destination!!) He'll be travelling back and forth until Christmas - not sure what will be happening after that - hopefully his workplace will be somewhere we can both be together. It's been a great experience for him and the photos look just stunning.
