Russ & Jeanne's Ranch, Santa Fe

Our walking buddies, Pat & Sam, introduced us to Jeanne & Russ and when they found out we would be in Santa Fe for Christmas they invited us out to their 80 acre property and we accepted the offer. They spend part of the year here and the rest of their time in Houston. What an incredible set up they have created in the most beautiful setting about 25 miles out from Santa Fe. They have the main house and 2 casitas (that's Spanish for small houses) in the traditional adobe style - for family and friends to stay. We met 2 such friends, Harriet & David, who had just arrived from Houston. We all went for a walk up the nearest rise and took in the amazing view - absolutely breathtaking - the snow, the sun, the mountains. Thanks Jeanne & Russ for sharing your piece of paradise with us.
