We spent 3 nights (Dec 28th - 31st) in this tucked away hideout up in the highlands of south western New Mexico. The night we arrived we looked up into the sky and it was amass of stars and milky ways that seemed so close we could touch them. John's office manager Liz had stayed here years ago and knowing us thought we would like it - we loved it! We had our own self contained casita overlooking mountains and a running creek. We will always have fond memories of our time here - the beautiful skies, the walking trails, the creek, the birds, the long horn mountain sheep, the horses, the colour and more - it all just came together for us and helped clear our heads, relax, plan for the year ahead and get some exercise - not bad for just a few days. There was no phone reception and no television - what a difference that makes!
