e afternoon, sometimes longer. The issue here in Houston is that the water really has nowhere to go and after a few heavy thunderstorms flooding occurs.Our apartment complex has a wonderful picnic area with walking paths leading down to the Bayou. This week saw that park disappear under water and apparently the water brought with it many water snakes from the Bayou (supposedly harmless, but I'm not convinced!) The water has now receded leaving behind a very large mud lake! The brown water in the background is our grassed picnic area.

That's it - keep up the Aussie in you - don't think for a moment that there could be countries out there that don't have lots and lots of animals and reptiles that could kill you at any moment... strange seeing non-poisonous snakes not in a zoo hah? Now... back to reading your blog (the Path of Tea hah? sounds like a fun place)
