Art Car Parade

The Houston Art Car Parade is a yearly event here and features a display of all types of rolling 'art'. It is the largest Art Car Parade in the world and we saw cars, bicycles, motorcycles, roller-skaters and many other types of motorized and human-powered vehicles all decorated in the most amazing patterns and themes. This years Parade featured 282 entries. We spent the afternoon at the parade with Juan, a Columbian friend, and we laughed lots and had a fun time - often in total disbelief of some of the creations - a wild imagination was obviously the basis for each artistic expression - as you can see -
