ANZAC Day Celebrations

On Sunday 29th April we attended an Anzac Day Commemoration Service with the Australian New Zealand Society of Texas and the Australian American Chamber of Commerce. About 100 Aussies and Kiwis attended and the very moving and emotional service, which was made even more special with the participation of the Houston Brass Band, and finished with the singing of the 3 national anthems - Australia, New Zealand and the US. (It was the first time we had actually sung 'the star spangled banner'!) The service was followed by a bbq where everyone came together and shared a wonderful afternoon.
