This is our first effort in the area of 'blogging' and we feel confident that we can conquer this marvelous technological feat and give you all a continuing update of our life and times here in cowboy country.
It has taken us a couple of months to finally put 'fingers to blog' so to speak - keeping up with emails has been somewhat of a challenge and hopefully this mode of communication will keep all our voyeuristic friends well informed!
We arrived here on the evening of Dec 29th 2006 and then just had enough time to unpack, familiarise ourselves with our new living arrangements, have a quick look around town before tarting ourselves up and heading out with Dave & Craig (EDN Contractors staying here at the apartments) to celebrate the New Year. It was a very memorable night and the beginning of a year full of new adventures.
Since then we have experienced so much and are really enjoying our time here and will certainly be filling each day with lots of enthusiasm and gratitude and making the most of every minute.Some highlights so far ............

wow...what a fantastic time you're having. Easter in London and Prague!!! And all the other great stuff you've been up to. Glad you've found an office manager so Julie can get on with her "vacation". Not much happening here...oh yes...it rained recently!! Keep enjoying yourselves and I'm loving the blog. Must catch up with Kocksi..so if you're reading this Kocksi, I'll be in touch

Thought you would like to know we are Grandparents to little Khoen O'Toole, born 13-4-07, 8lb. 4oz.Lauren had a rough time, including drop in blood pressure, fainting and lost 2 litres of blood. She had a blood transfusion but is coming good now, 5 days later. Kane has been fantastic and done much of the caring for the little fellow.Jai and Briony got engaged on Good Friday and are planning a Party for the 12th May.Great to hear your news. Will keep in touch.
